Whunkanui Repenique Entry
The notation below is valid from the .07 sec mark in the vid.
Also, down the page where it says “Call” under “Whunkanui main groove” – thats the rep entry at .40sec mark. Note that you wont hear the first note played by the rep on the rim as it gets lost in the sound of the other instruments.
Another thing to note is that the first bar of the rep call is the same timing as what the surdos play in the first part of Whunkanui.
