Bay Batucada will be playing at this year’s Taupo Winter Festival !

As part of the festival’s Street’s Alive event, we will be playing at several locations throughout Taupo.

2:00pm Bucket drumming workshop
3:30pm Performance at #LOVETAUPO sign on the lakefront
4:45pm Performance at Suncourt Plaza
7:30pm Performances outside Great Lake Centre

Day time performances cancelled due to bad weather.
7:00pm Performance outside Great Lakes Centre (subject to weather)

Sunday 18th July
11:00am Performance outside Great Lakes Centre (subject to weather)

• Magpies shirts – We have a limited number of shirts. If you’re not playing the gig, consider sharing your shirt with a band member.

Times:

• 5:30pm Please arrive early to secure parking.
• 6:00pm We meet at cnr Latham/Georges Drive and do a quick parade to the main entrance of McLean Park.
• 6:15pm Organisers will provide a safety briefing, advise emergency procedures.
• 6:30pm Performance commences!  🤩
• 7:05pm Rugby game starts.
• We’ve been asked to move to the embankment after this, but you don’t need to stick around. We can leave at this point.
